My Final Movie!

Dedicated to all my teachers that had taught me these skills,to make such a wonderful animation.

THANKYOU
ANGELA ARORA

Problems I encountered & Final Size

There were not many problems that I encountered. But some were just some silly mistakes. Like not setting the canvas on a colour. But all of these little problems, I encountered, I fixed. Due to the help of my fellow classmates and My wonderful teachers.

My Final Size:

The final size for my animation is 1,342 KB

WHY I USED INKSCAPE?
When we were given this assignment we were given the choice of using any software, like GIMP, PAINT OR INKSCAPE. I chose inkscape for a numerous amount of reasons. Firstly it is way better than PAINT. Because of the updated tools, and the fill and stroke feature. But it also has lots of other good tools, like grouping all the objects together, or raising or lowering the object.

What Image Format I used for frames and my animation? Plus what Frame rate I was aiming for!

Well when I was saving the frames, I saved my image format as PNG. Like sir told us to
And when I was creating the frames I saved it as SVG. So I could continue working on my frames. If I done it PNG. Then it wouldnt all me to continue working.

FRAME RATE:
The frame rate I was aiming for was 10 frames per second

This means Dots per inch, like for example in this scanner the resolution is 4800DPI times 9600DPI
Optical Resolution:
The physical resolution at which a scanner can capture an image. This may be less than the stated resolution of the scanner, especially in flatbed scanners which commonly employ interpolation to provide the illusion of much higher resolutions.
Colour Depth:
Color depth or bit depth, is a computer graphics term describing the number of bits used to represent the color of a single pixel in a bitmapped image or video frame buffer. This concept is also known as bits per pixel (bpp), particularly when specified along with the number of bits used. For example the colour depth for this scanner is 16/16 bit pixel depth.

Buying A Digital Camera

Well when I am looking at buying a digital camera , I want it to have a good resolution, fantastic quanlity, connect to internet plus printing high quanlity. Also it should a reasonable price.

The Resolution isnt told on the site

And the memory site doesnt work

Careers In Digital Graphics

The first Graphic Job I have choosen, is one of an animator.

WHAT DOES THE PERSON IN THE CAREER DO??
An animator produces multiple images which are called frames. When these frames are put together at a very high speed, they make an animation.
Where would you see this person’s work (e.g. in the newspaper, in a game shop)?
Probably in studios
What training is needed for the career?
The basic skill of animation still relies heavily on the animator's artistic ability, but there is a growing need for animators to be familiar with technical computer packages.
What kind of software and hardrive is used?
using technical software packages, such as Flash, 3d studio max, Maya, Lightwave, Softimage and Cinema 4D;

NOW MY SECOND JOB:
Flash Development:
WHAT DOES THE PERSON IN THE CAREER DO??
Flash is a program that is used for livening up websites with graphics, animation and sound
Where would you see this person’s work (e.g. in the newspaper, in a game shop)?
In computer labs
What training is needed for the career?
Become a Flash developer by obtaining a 4-year degree in computer science. You may eventually want to pursue a master's degree to give yourself more earning power, but a bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification you'll need to become a Flash design developer.
What kind of software and hardrive is used?
Learn the popular operating systems like Windows, Mac, Linux and Unix to get the baseline skills for Flash programs.

Difference Between A Vector Image & A Bitmapped Image :)

As people begin working with computer graphics, one of the subjects of greatest confusion is the difference between bitmap graphics and vector graphics.  This is why I decided to Give my time in telling you the differences in the 2. Well first of all a bitmapped image is A bitmap graphic (you may occasionally hear "raster" graphic) is basically a large grid - think of a huge checkerboard, or a screen door, or any grid with a lot of little squares. If you put a different color in each little square, you can build an image square by square. When you stand far enough away from the grid, the individual grid squares blend together and you see a complete photographic image. This is how computer monitors and televisions work - they both are a series of little squares (pixels) in a big grid (the screen). When you specify your monitor's resolution (800x600, 1024x768 etc), you are telling the computer how many dots across by how many dots tall, and thus you define the grid that gets filled in with dots to show the image.
Now what is a Vector image?
a vector graphic is one in which the shape or path of a line is defined by a bit of math. Vector graphics are basically points connected by lines of various shapes, filled with solid or gradient colors. So it's point A, connected to point B by a line of some shape, with the shape of that line defined by a little mathematical description. More points and more lines can make more complex shapes. The line that defines the vector shape is referred to as the path.

Inkscape Extension

We are asked to do an inkscape extension for our own benefit. Out of those 4 options I chose to draw the eyeball, which I thought was fairly easy. Here is a picture of it down the bottom:

Graphic Tablet

What is a Grpahic Tablet:
A graphics tablet (or digitizer, digitizing tablet, graphics pad, drawing tablet) is a computer input device that allows one to hand-draw images and graphics, similar to the way one draws images with a pencil and paper. These tablets may also be used to capture data or handwritten signatures. It can also be used to trace an image from a piece of paper which is taped or otherwise secured to the surface. Capturing data in this way, either by tracing or entering the corners of linear poly-lines or shapes is called digitizing.
A graphics tablet (also called pen pad or digitizer) consists of a flat surface upon which the user may "draw" or trace an image using an attached stylus, a pen-like drawing apparatus. The image generally does not appear on the tablet itself but, rather, is displayed on the computer monitor. Some tablets, however, come as a functioning secondary computer screen that you can interact with images directly by using the stylus.
Some tablets are intended as a general replacement for a mouse as the primary pointing and navigation device for desktop computers.

Draw VS Paint (olympic rings)

I tried to draw the olympic rings on paint but it was so hard due to all the locking and all the circles i think the easiest program to use to draw anything is inkscape. And its true, Here is a picture of the drawing on inkscape:
Sorry about the picture eing half, cut, technical difficultes. But you can probabaly understand, even with the fantastic Besizer tool and beautiful circles, I wasnt able to accomplish the task to high standards, as i said before, inkscape is a fabulous software to use, the only thing that didnt make my drawing good was the colour in bucket, that bucket splashes paint everywhere and also make the line of the circle thicker. So i couldnt colour to my startdards either.

OVERALL
I would use Inkscape due to all the facts stated above

Thinking about what to do

As you can see that I have uploaded the some what my movie but i still think it is missing the special touch??

THINK???
